I have designed a stop motion animation adaptation of the book The Night Circus. The sets for the circus itself will be devoid of any colour whilst the patrons and the world outside the mysterious circus will be very vibrant and rich to contrast.

The Night Circus follows the story of a traveling circus named Les Cirque Des Réves - the Circus of Dreams, designed by an eccentric theatre producer Chandresh Christophe Lefèvre. The book itself is a series of interconnecting story lines that all meet in the last few chapters. For the sake of my project and the ease of watching I have rearranged and focused on the plot following Celia Bowen and Marcus Alisdair.
